High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is an analytical procedure used to separate and determine the concentration of substances.

The Arium® pro VFArium® pro UF, and  Arium® pro UV (with optional TOC monitor) offer affordable alternatives to prepare high-purity eluants for HPLC analysis to our customers in medical, chemical, and biochemical research, as well as QC in the biopharmaceutical industry.

For HPLC, our water purification systems provide Type I ultrapure water that meets or exceeds ASTM and CLSI water quality standards with a conductivity of 0.055 µS/cm or 18.2 MΩ cm (Megohm) resistivity and low TOC levels of ≤ 2 ppb TOC.

This allows you to satisfy the key HPLC lab water requirement: dilution water with low total organic carbon (TOC) levels and low ion concentration.

For HPLC, Pure Lab Solutions recommends our following products: arium® pro VF / Arium® pro VF-TOC,  Arium® pro UF / Arium® pro UF-TOC,  Arium® pro UV / Arium® pro UV-TOC.

NOTE: all systems come in 3 space-saving installation options: (1) wall-mounted, (2) benchtop, (3) under-the-counter

Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)

Gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is used for both qualitative and quantitative detection and identification of traces of substances. For optimal results in GC-MS analysis, it is absolutely critical to use ultrapure water of the highest quality with low TOC.

For GC-MS, Pure Lab Solutions recommends our following products: Arium® pro VF / Arium® pro VF-TOC,  Arium® pro UF / Arium® pro UF-TOC,  Arium® pro UV / Arium® pro UV-TOC.

NOTE: all GS-MS systems come in 3 space-saving installation options: (1) wall-mounted, (2) benchtop, (3) under-the-counter

Inductively-Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy (ICP-MS)

Inductively-coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS) is an analytical technique used for detection and quantification in the pharmaceutical, food, and beverage industry, as well as in environmental monitoring. ICP-MS uses exceptionally high quality water, such as ASTM Type I with a conductivity of 0.055 µS/cm and TOC< 10 ppb.

For ICP-MC, Pure Lab Solutions recommends our following products: Arium® pro VF / Arium® pro VF-TOC,  Arium® pro UF / Arium® pro UF-TOC,  Arium® pro UV / Arium® pro UV-TOC.

NOTE: all systems come in 3 space-saving installation options: (1) wall-mounted, (2) benchtop, (3) under-the-counter

Lab Water for Histological Sections

Histological sections are frequently prepared before or after in situ hybridization (ISH). RNase-free ultrapure water is used to apply specimens to slides or to wash tissue sections on slides, each step requiring a specific level of purity.

Type II lab water systems are best for this application as they use reverse osmosis and electrodeionization to remove the majority of contaminants. To obtain optimal results in preparing histological sections, water used to wash these sections, for example, must always have an ion concentration of <0.2 µS/cm.

For histological sections, Pure Lab Solutions recommends our following product:

For ICP-MC, Pure Lab Solutions recommends our following products: Arium® pro UF/Arium® pro UF-TOC, Arium® pro UV-TOC,  Arium® advance EDI

Cell Cultivation

In cell cultivation, water is frequently used for preparing buffers and media, often to promote the growth of cell cultures. To prevent any adverse effects on their growth, the water used should be completely free of ions and endotoxins.

For cell cultivation applications, Pure Lab Solutions recommends our following product: Arium® pro VF / arium® pro VF-TOC

Ion Chromatography (IC)

Ion-exchange chromatography, or ion chromatography (IC), is an analytical procedure for separation of substances based on their charge. A chromatography column is used to separate these substances into their analytes.

To obtain optimal results in IC analysis, you need to use ASTM Type I ultrapure water of the highest quality and with a conductivity of 0.055 µS/cm to dilute samples and blanks.

For ion chromatography, Pure Lab Solutions recommends our following products: Arium® pro UF / Arium® pro UF-TOC

NOTE: all IC systems come in 3 space-saving installation options: (1) wall-mounted, (2) benchtop, (3) under-the-counter
