Employee Spotlight: Heather Krueger

Welcome to the Pure Lab Solutions Employee Spotlight series, in which we highlight our incredible team members! Today we’re featuring Heather Krueger, our COO and Quality Manager celebrating 8 years at PLS. We asked her a series of questions to get to know her further.

Q: What do you do at Pure Lab Solutions?

A: I wear many hats at Pure Lab Solutions — and that’s exactly what I love about my role. As the Chief Operating Officer of a right-sized, agile company, I get to stay closely connected to both the day-to-day operations and the big-picture strategy. My responsibilities span across HR functions, internal sales, purchasing, inventory and quality management, as well as nurturing our company culture, driving growth, and collaborating with leadership on strategic development. It’s a dynamic role that allows me to make a direct impact while staying grounded in the values and vision that make Pure Lab Solutions unique.

Q: Favorite part of working at PLS?

A: I truly appreciate the diversity and dynamic nature of my role at Pure Lab Solutions. Each day brings new challenges and learning opportunities, whether I’m collaborating with our talented team or supporting a wide range of clients from different industries. The variety of projects keeps my work engaging and meaningful, and I’m continually inspired by the passion and expertise of my co-workers. Being part of such an innovative and supportive environment makes my role both professionally fulfilling and personally rewarding.

Q: How do you spend your free time?

A: In my free time, I enjoy engaging in a variety of meaningful and creative pursuits. I volunteer regularly at the local theater, where I assist with events and productions. It’s a rewarding way to contribute to the arts while supporting a vibrant cultural space in the community.

I am also an active member of a philanthropic women’s group dedicated to giving back through initiatives such as community beautification projects, supporting local food pantries (contributing over $275,000 to food pantries alone in 2024-2025), and organizing charitable events. Working alongside a group of passionate, service-minded women has deepened my appreciation for grassroots efforts and the power of collective impact.

Outside of volunteer work, I find joy and balance in creative expression. I love to write and paint, and I like to spend quiet moments reading or gardening. These personal interests help me stay grounded and inspired, and they continually remind me of the value of reflection, creativity, and connection—both with others and with the world around me.

Thank you Heather for your incredible commitment to quality, accountability, and excellence! We are looking forward to highlighting more of our team members, so be on the lookout for future Employee Spotlights. In the meantime, keep up with us on our LinkedIn page and at upcoming events.
