Employee Spotlight: Raul Martinez
Welcome to the Pure Lab Solutions Employee Spotlight series, in which we highlight our incredible team members! Today we’re featuring Raul Martinez, a Service Technician celebrating 2 years at PLS. We asked him some questions to get to know him further.
Q: What do you do at Pure Lab Solutions?
A: As a service technician, I manage our service calendar and confirm our clients’ appointments. My day includes a wide range of responsibilities, from new installations and lab relocations to preventative and ongoing maintenance of all Sartorius models.
Q: Favorite part of working at PLS?
A: I really enjoy the challenge of a new system installation — making sure the setup is clean, precise, and fully functional from day one. There is a great sense of pride in leaving a lab knowing the client feels confident in their water system and that I’ve contributed to the accuracy and reliability of the work they do.
Q: How do you spend your free time?
A: I love spending time with my family and friends. I also love riding my motorcycle and going on long rides, or even just working on my bike when something breaks… it’s always a good time!
Q: A fun fact about you…
A: I used to play bass and sing in a reggae band for almost 4 years.
