Best Booth at ISPE Expo 2026: How Team Culture Drives Quality in the Lab

If you stopped by the ISPE San Diego Chapter’s Technology & Innovation Expo, you might have caught a sight not typically associated with ultrapure laboratory water: biotech professionals in grass skirts and coconut bras attempting to balance on a surfboard for five seconds to earn a Pure Lab Solutions visor.

We are thrilled to share that Pure Lab Solutions took home 1st place for Best Booth at this year’s Expo. We also had the pleasure of awarding two lucky raffle winners tickets to SUP Pups, a fantastic local San Diego business that teaches paddleboarding with your dog.

While winning Best Booth is a proud moment for our team, what we’re most excited about is what that energy represents.

Energy at the Expo, Excellence in the Lab

It’s easy to see this event as just a fun day out with our local life science community. But to us, there’s a direct connection between how we show up at an industry event and how we serve our clients every day.

Attention to Detail

A great booth experience doesn’t happen by accident. It takes planning, execution, and a commitment to make every interaction count. That same obsession with detail goes into evaluating and designing custom ultrapure water polisher layouts, selecting the right equipment for your specific application, and making sure we build you a long-term solution that supports your lab as it evolves.

Going All-Out When It Matters

Whether we’re cheering someone on as they attempt a surfboard balance test or responding to an emergency call on a weekend to prevent critical lab downtime, our team doesn’t do “good enough”. When a lab’s research or production is on the line, having a team that consistently goes above & beyond makes all the difference.

Deep Roots in the Local Community

For over 14 years, Pure Lab Solutions has served as Sartorius’s Master Distributor in San Diego and beyond. Partnering with local businesses like SUP Pups and supporting the ISPE San Diego Chapter reflects our commitment to nurturing the vibrant biotech ecosystem right here in our backyard.

Quality You Can Rely On

Behind the fun props and friendly competition is a team dedicated to one core mission: taking the worry out of your lab water.

From custom system installations and preventative maintenance to FDA validation, emergency service, and relocations, we apply the highest standards of quality to everything we do.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, tested their balance, and talked H2O with us! If you’re ready to evaluate or upgrade your lab’s ultrapure water setup, connect with our team today.
